Psicologia & Saberes is a publication that crowns the efforts of the faculty of the Cesmac psychology program in conducting a broad scientific debate, a milestone made even more significant this year as the program completes its 50th anniversary. This journal is a record that goes beyond this, as it is a space that establishes a dialogue between the subjectivity of psychological knowledge and the diverse knowledge from other sciences that also contribute to the development of an increasingly pressing interdisciplinarity in Brazilian academic culture. This journal defines a field that sparks the discussion and critical stance that science in general needs to foster social development.
